One of the things that we tell our Seniors in pre-shoot consultations is that make-up is really important in a portrait. The lighting and the camera lenses tend to wash away a lot of detail. This is both good and bad. Good in that it tends to hide blemishes and imperfect skin… but also bad in that it takes away the depth and drama in our model’s eyes and lips. This is where applying the right “make-up” really counts. In fact the very words “Make” and ” Up” explain what is happening to improve what the camera is taking away. Jennifer is one of the best of the best with make-up. Lots of models try really hard to do a good job with their make-up but let me tell you that some are really quite excellent. Jennifer has flawless skin even with no make-up but look at how her eyes pop with that perfect mascara and eyeshadow !!! What an Awesome Job !!! I wish all of our models were that good with make and hair styling. Thanks for making our photo session so cool & creative !!!
